Elsie Norsen, a newcomer to Ashton Place and recent recipient of a successful cochlear implant, is now teaching the Ashton Place Residents American sign language. Elsie had been unable to hear for nearly 30 years until undergoing surgery last spring. Elsie and her students are pictured above!
